Today you know the men behind Zechman Well Drilling as Vic and Michael Sprenkel, father and son.
Here is a little history of Zechman Well Drilling....
In 1952 Gilbert Zechman, built his first cable rig himself and started Zechman Well Drilling. During this time Gilbert sent a well drilling machine to Haiti. The Haitians could drill wells and have fresh drinking water. He was a Godly man and did his best to serve his community and beyond. Gilbert and his wife believed in treating his employees as family. Every Christmas they would have a party and give gifts to all the children. Vic (present owner) was a child at this time, as his father Donald worked for Gilbert.
In 1964 Danny Page, Gilbert's son in law and Donald Sprenkel started working for Gilbert. In 1970, Danny bought the pump side of the business. He installed and serviced all the pumps, while Gilbert continued to run the well drilling side of the business. In 1974 Gilbert sold the well drilling side of the business to Danny. Danny remained owner of Zechman well until 1979.

Donald Sprenkel, earlier years
In 1989, Donald Sprenkel and his brother David bought the business from Stanford, Robert and Larry. During this time, they brought their sons, Vic, Todd and Chad to work for them, in order to show them the family business. In 2003, Vic became partners with his dad Donald while David and his two sons Todd and Chad left to pursue other lines of work.. For six years the two of them worked well side by side with the Lord leading and directing them every day.
Gilbert Zechman
In 1979, Stanford, Robert and Larry Sprenkle bought Zechman Well Drilling from Danny Page. Together they owned Zechman Well Drilling until 1989.

On October 7th, 2009, Donald Sprenkel suddenly went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus. He was loved and is missed beyond measure. Vic, not only lost his father, he lost his business partner. In the perfect will and timing of the Lord, Vic's son Michael was ready to step in and become partners with his Dad.

On October 7th, 2009, Donald Sprenkel suddenly went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus. He was loved and is missed beyond measure. Vic, not only lost his father, he lost his business partner. In the perfect will and timing of the Lord, Vic's son Michael was ready to step in and become partners with his Dad.

There also is Annette, Michael's wife who does not work in the office but she is part of our family business.
